My name is Julie Knudsen. I love everything beautiful and creative. I have been married to my sweet and supportive husband Chuck for over 30 years. We have three grown children and five adorable grandchildren.
When I was in grade school my mother paid a talented woman to teach me applique' and embroidery. I will always appreciate her giving me such a lovely and thoughtful gift. It was the beginning of discovery for me. From that point on I was always engaged in something creative.
In the 80's I sculpted original porcelain dolls for "Bell Ceramics". In the 90's I designed fabric crafts and dolls for "Darrow Production Co." I've also enjoyed gardening, decorating, refinishing furniture, painting ceramic tiles, stained glass, and making children's clothing.
Quilting and sewing are what I love the most, and fabric is my obsession. Even with the demands of church and family, I have decided to re-enter the business of design. There is beauty everywhere, you just have to find it or make it.
